About Us

Mission

To unite people of Polish ancestry in the bonds of friendship, mutual understanding and brotherhood. To maintain, promote and continue Polish traditions and culture, and also instill good Polish-American citizenship in the U.S.A. To take an active interest in the civic, social and moral welfare of the Polish-American Community.

History

The Polish American Club of North Jersey was founded in Paramus, New Jersey, in 1932, to bring together Polish-Americans in the northern part of NJ in the bonds of friendship, to maintain, promote and continue Polish traditions and culture.

Organization

Officers and Trustees of the P.A.C. of North Jersey are elected annually in accordance with the club's constitution/By-laws. Standing committee chair-people are appointees of the President. Meetings are conducted according to "Roberts Rules of Order".

Scholarships

A limited number of annually awarded scholarships are available to members, children and grand children of members, who attend or after graduating high school, will be attending an accredited institution of higher learning, and who file a timely application and meet the prescribed academic criteria.

Miss Polonia Pageant

The Club sponsors a "Miss Polonia" program, in which a young lady 16-25 years of age, is chosen to represent our Club and participate in the N.Y.C. Pulaski Day Parade, in October each year. She also attends and takes part in most of the Club functions and events.

Membership

Anyone of Polish or part Polish Ancestry and their spouse, age 18 or over, is eligible for membership by application. Annual dues are due at the beginning of each calendar year - $20/member. For an application or more information, contact:
